About Us

Learn More About Our Boutique Jamaican Hotel

Since opening in the 1950’s, Terra Nova has welcomed guests with red carpet treatment befitting one of the finest boutique hotels in Jamaica.

Entering from the main roadway, you are greeted by an oasis of tranquility and Old World opulence. Lush, meticulously maintained tropical gardens and tall, flourishing trees shade the parking lot. At the center of the property is a brilliant statue of a rearing horse, which is a celebration of the legacy of equestrian supremacy for which the owner of the Terra Nova property is renowned.

As you enter the lobby, you are transported back to a grander era in a space adorned with chandeliers, gold trimmings, stained wooden flooring, canopy chairs, gilded wall mirrors and lush Baroque drapes. A few steps further, you come to our master staircase with all its classical trimmings. Beside that is the grand piano that echoes throughout the halls when our resident pianist is on hand.

To the left is the Terrace Restaurant, serving our guests award-winning food throughout the day.

To the right is the sophisticated Regency Bar & Lounge, which is at first sight an escape to the classic New York bar from the days of Frank Sinatra. Known throughout Jamaica, the Regency Restaurant enchants Kingston locals and hotel guests alike with its white-glove service, fine dining cuisine and sophisticated elegance.

Committed to the Environment

Composting is the first of a series of environmentally conscious initiatives that the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel has undertaken for 2018. We maintain perhaps one of the most vegetated spaces among Kingston hotels, and produce large amounts of organic waste on a daily basis through our restaurants, banqueting and meeting facilities.

Sustainable initiatives like composting will ensure that your experience with us is always that of a trip to a tropical oasis at the heart of a thriving city.
